Restaurant/Hotel -
Service Set-up
Over the years, we have developed Southern California's largest customer base for restaurant and hotel collection programs because we offer effective programs specialized for each recycling situation. We offer free programs, with rebates paid back to the restaurants or hotels, and, in some cases, can assist with placing equipment such as balers for cardboard.
Materials Recycled and Bins Supplied with Program We offer the highest quality bins for any recycling situation. See the bins page for a description.
Glass:
We can supply either 95-gallon carts or lockable dumpsters of various sizes. We collect all glass combined, so there is no need to separate by color, the collection is free, and we pay you for your glass. Glass is one of the simplest materials to recycle in a restaurant, a huge waste generator, and the most cost-effective material in terms of payment to the restaurant. It is almost foolish not to consider a glass program if you own or manage a restaurant, as tossing it out costs you more and takes about the same effort. We can also supply interior bins for recycling stations at no charge.
Cardboard:
Baled; If your restaurant or hotel generates a large amount of cardboard (over 6000 lbs. per month) then you may want to consider a baler as it saves space and allows for free cardboard recycling while covering the lease of a baler. The reduction in trash costs alone make this a winner. Our company pays top dollar for all cardboard bales collected, and we don't require you to store up more than two bales at once !
Loose:
We charge a nominal service fee for loose cardboard collection. Usually this fee is much less than the cost of the equivalent amount of trash, so you may want to consider this for savings on the trash end. We supply 3-yard bins for loose cardboard collection. In most cases, the rebate from glass covers the costs of cardboard collection.
Mixed Paper:
Usually we can supply free mixed paper collection if you include glass with your program as it more than covers the cost of mixed paper collection. Mixed paper includes menus, office paper, junk mail, magazines, newspapers, and any type of paper in your building. 95-gallon carts work well for this material, or it can be included with loose cardboard.
Mixed Containers:
This category includes plastic bottles, tin cans, and aluminum cans. We usually provide this service at a nominal fee, but in some cases it can be included free with glass recycling. We usually recommend that you use 95-gallon carts for this material, or it can be included with the paper material in a dumpster.
